An idol of Satyanarayan, framed image of Satyanarayan, coins (paisa), tumbler (Bati), spoon (Chamoch), small plate (Choto Thali), turmeric powder (Holde), kumkum powder(Shidoor), flowers of three variants (3 Rokom er ful), sandalwood paste(Chandan), betel leaves (Paan), fruits (Fol), betel nuts (Supori), coconuts (Narikel), jaggery (Gur), and mango leaves (Aam Pata)

Vermilion, wheat powder, platform and cotton wool, rice mixed with Haldi powder/turmeric, stand, cotton weeks, Agarbatti (Incense Sticks), a small lamp, Nava Dhanya (nine grains and nine beans), tulsi leaves, etc.

Place the platform in the north or east section of your house and do not forget to apply turmeric and kumkum to the platforms. Spread a cloth on top of it and spread some rice on it. Prepare the Kalasam for the pooja.

You also need to place a beetle leaf and idol on top of it and keep them in front of the Kalasham. You have to apply kumkum and flowers to the framed picture and place it carefully behind the Kalasham.

It is also required to make a small Ganesha of Haldi and put a small plate of jaggery in front of it. Do not forget to light the Diyas or lamps before performing the puja. After the puja is done, you need to distribute the food to guests.

Drink the water in the Kalasam and sprinkle it around the house. Also tie the rice, fruits, and other items required during the puja in a cloth and give it to the priest.
